Not been on here for a while been so busy with the kids during the summer holidays. Had to really put on my thinking cap to find ways to entertain the little ones.
As a Childminder of five overactive kids during the schoool holiday , I spend time with the children doing lots of things never a minute to get bored
We did lots of crafts making things from friendship bracelts to monster trucks. We did lots of singing and lots of story telling and lots of visits to the libarary
When the weather was good we had mini sports days out in the garden. We did leaf rubbing and stone rubbing. If the weather was really good we packed a picnic and went to the local park. For the older children I organised treasure hunts, we really had some great times. For the younger ones we had ball games.
One day we had a picnic and took the kites with us the kids were having so much fun they didn’t want to go home.
All in all I think we all had a great Summer Holiday now the older kids are back at school it seems really quite here but not for long another few weeks and another holiday.
I love the school holidays so much and not once did I hear a child say ” I’m Bored”
